All In My Head (Stripped Down)

This is a stripped down version of "All In My Head" by The Nightstalker, a song about the insanity of a first love.

I just restrung my acoustic this evening, and decided to play around with it using Reason and Balance. Unfortunately, the pickup I own is noisy as all hell, and will probably be getting replaced very soon.

From the full version, I dropped the guitar solo and reduced the number of choruses at the end to one. I've been working on the full version of this one for close to two months, and hopefully sometime in early December I can finish the release. Lots of vocals in the full version, beyond the order of "Everytime".

Hope you enjoy. :)

Lyrics:

Better on lips, you say. Well, maybe there’s no better way.
To let these feelings that are swelling inside out to play.
We’d be naive to think the other can’t see deep inside.
I’d be much better having you by my side tonight. It’s...

All in my head, all I do
You see inside of me, too
All in my head, all for you
Nothing that I’d rather do
It’s all in my head.

This self-infliction of imagining what you feel like
It turns me inside-out and brightens my soul, set alight.
What if we move on this connection between you and I?
Or do we just pretend there’s nothing and say goodbye? It’s...

All in my head, all I do
You see inside of me, too
All in my head, all for you
Nothing that I’d rather do
It’s all in my head.

Maybe in my head is where it all belongs
But I can’t stand the thought of you being alone
I’m just one step away from insanity
I want you to know, I need you to see, I’ve got to scream out that I love you, I love you, it’s...

All in my head, all I do
You see inside of me, too
All in my head, all for you
Nothing that I’d rather do

All in my head, all I do
You see inside of me, too
All in my head, all for you
Nothing that I’d rather do
It’s all in my head.
